🔒 Connection request for private account
On Jumboo, some accounts are set to private to protect the privacy of shared content. This means their posts are only accessible to specifically authorized people.
👥 How to send a connection request?
When you visit a private profile, you cannot directly see their posts. Instead, a “Connect” button is displayed. By tapping it, you send a connection request to the account owner.
Once the request is sent, the button changes to “Request sent”, letting you know your request has been taken into account.
⏳ What happens next?
The account owner receives your request and can accept or refuse it. If accepted, you become a subscriber to their private account and can then view all their posts. If refused, you will not have access to their private content.
🔔 Follow and manage your requests
You can find all your connection requests in the Notifications section located in the app header. By clicking on a sent request, a panel opens allowing you to withdraw your connection request if you want to cancel it before it’s accepted or refused.
⚙️ Stay in control
This feature gives you complete control over your private connections. You can easily send, track, and withdraw your requests to better manage your interactions on Jumboo.
