How to report a content or a behavior
The quickest and most efficient way to tell us of an inapropriate, abusive or undesirable content is to use the Report feature, accessible from every post, comment or profile.
You can thus help us identify content or behavior that beaks our rules. Exemples below will guide you according to the type of report you wish to send us.
👉 Your reports are strictly confidential : the content's author will not know who reported them.
⚠️ Only exception : cases of intellectual property violations, whiwh require specific information on the plaintif's identity.

If you think a post you just saw infringes on our Community standards or our Community guidelines, you can report it directly from the App.
Report a user's post
- Tap the (…) icon in the top right corner of the post.
- Select “Report this post” in the pop-up menu.
- Pick a motive in the provided list.
- Confirm to send your report.

Report a business account

Report an organization's account

Block an account
If you think a post you just saw infringes on our Community standards or our Community guidelines, you can report it directly from the App.
Block a user's account
Jumboo provides three ways to block an account: after filing a report, directly on the relevant profile, or from your “Blocked accounts” dashboard.
After a report
- As soon as you complete reporting a post or a comment, choose “Block this account” in the confirmation screen.
From the corresponding profile
- Tap the ⋮ icon in the top right corner of the account’s profile.
- Select “Block this account” in the pop-up menu.
- Confirm to add this profile to your blocked accounts list.
From your dashboard > “Blocked accounts”
- Open your dashboard then tap “Blocked accounts”.
- Tap the “+” icon in the top right corner.
- Look for the profile you wish to block, then tap “Block”.
- The account now shows up in your blocked accounts list.
Your blockings are strictly confidential: the corresponding account does not receive any notification about you.

Report copyright and intellectual property violations
Report copyrights infringement on Jumboo
If you think a post you just saw infringes on our Community standards or our Community guidelines, you can report it directly from the App.
If you believe that a post on Jumboo infringes your copyright, you can submit a takedown request by sending an email to our dedicated team.
Your message must include all the necessary details to properly review your report, in accordance with applicable laws. Please make sure to provide the following:
- A clear description of the copyrighted work.
- The full URL link to the post in question (available by tapping “Share” then “Copy link” on Jumboo).
- A statement declaring that you believe in good faith that the use of the content is not authorized by the rights owner, their representative, or the law.
- An affidavit affirming the accuracy of the information provided.
- Your complete contact details: full name, postal address, valid email address.
- An electronic or handwritten signature of the rights owner or their authorized representative.
Important: Only the copyright holder or their legal representative can submit this type of request. If you believe content infringes someone else’s rights, we encourage you to contact them directly.
Transparent handling: The information you provide in your report (identity, email, claim details) may be shared with the user concerned, in accordance with the principle of adversarial process.

What happens after having sent a report for copyrights violation on Jumboo?
If you think a post you just saw infringes on our Community standards or our Community guidelines, you can report it directly from the App.
After sending a report for copyright violation, whether by email or directly from the Jumboo app, you will automatically receive an acknowledgment of receipt with a unique tracking number. Please keep this number safe, as it will be useful for any future communication with our team.
Our team may contact you to request additional information in order to better process your case. If so, please reply directly to that message so your report can move forward efficiently.
We regularly inform the user who posted the reported content of the following details:
- The tracking number of the report
- The name of the copyright owner
- The email address you provided
- Details of the report
- Instructions on how to dispute the claim, if applicable
Please note that the person whose content has been removed may contact you using the contact details you provided. We therefore recommend using a professional or generic email address to protect your privacy.

Trademark violations on Jumboo
Trademark violation can happen when a user name, a logo or any other protected element is used in a way that could mislead or confuse users about links to the corresponding brand or company.
What does not constitute a violation
Use of a trademark by another entity, without link to the associated product or service is not considered a violation of Jumboo terms. The profile names on Jumboo are on a “First arrived, first served” basis, and cannot be set aside in advance.
How to report a trademark violation?
If you think a user name harms your trademark, you can inform us so that we may examine the situation.

Suspicion of abuse or sexual exploitation

Within the framework of combatting abuse and sexual exploitation, Jumboo is committed to act swiftly and firmly. Any suspicious content or behavior must be reported without delay to protect victims and prevent dissemination of illegal content.
