Why add a secondary address?

The secondary address is used to:

• Receive security codes related to Two-factor authentication.
• Recover access to your account if you lose access to your main email address.
• Choose between two addresses to receive validation codes for sensitive actions.

This is a recommended option but not mandatory.

Steps to add a secondary email address

1. Access the dedicated page

Open your profile.
Go to the Dashboard.
Select Account center & settings.
Tap Two-factor authentication.

2. Add the secondary address

In the Secondary email address section:

• Tap “Add a new address” or edit the existing one if already set.
• Enter the secondary email address (must be different from your main address).
• Tap “Send code”.

3. Validate the address

You will receive a verification code at the email address you entered.
Enter this code in the app to confirm your new secondary address.

Once confirmed, your secondary email address is added and active.

⚠️ Important rules

Main and secondary email addresses must be different.

If you try to enter the same address for both, an error message will appear:

“Main and secondary email addresses must be different.”

Secondary address status

Once the address is validated:

• 🟢 A green dot appears next to the address if it is verified.
• 🔴 A red dot appears if it is not yet verified (you can resend a code to complete verification).

You will receive a confirmation email

After adding or modifying your secondary address, an automatic confirmation email will be sent.
This allows us to verify the action and ensure your account’s security.

Adding a secondary email address means having a double secure access to your Jumboo account.
Keep this address accessible and up to date.
