What is the secondary address used for?

The secondary email address allows you to:

• Receive security codes when making sensitive changes to your account.
• Recover access to your account if your main address becomes inaccessible.
• Choose between your two addresses to receive security notifications.

Steps to change your secondary email address

1. Open the dedicated page

Go to your profile.
Open the Dashboard.
Select Account center & settings.
Click on Two-factor authentication.

2. Change the secondary address

In the Secondary email address section:

• Click on the currently registered secondary address.
• Tap “Change”.
• Enter your new email address (it must be different from your main address).
• Click “Send code” to validate the change.

3. Verify the new address

A verification code is sent to the new address.
Enter the six-digit code to finalize the change.

Once verified, your new secondary address becomes immediately active.

⚠️ Important points

Main and secondary addresses must be different.

If you enter the same email twice, the following error message will appear:

“Main and secondary email addresses must be different.”

The old secondary address is automatically deactivated once the new one is verified.

Visual verification

• 🟢 A green dot appears next to the address if it’s verified.
• 🔴 A red dot appears until the verification is complete (you can request a new code if needed).

Email confirmation

Once the new secondary address is confirmed, you’ll receive:

• A confirmation email sent to the old address (if still active).
• An activation email sent to the new one.

Changing your secondary email address helps you maintain secure access to Jumboo at all times.
Be sure to update this address if you change your mailbox or lose access to the previous one.
