Gender and date of birth
You can see, and in some cases edit the personal information realting to your Jumboo account. This data is used to improve your experience of the platform, guarantee security and adapt some features to your profile.
From the mobile App : iOS & ANDROID
Accessing the Screen
From the Account Center & Settings menu, tap on Personal Information to display the following fields:
- Gender
- Date of Birth
Gender
- Editable field
- You can update this information at any time.
Available options:
- Male
- Female
- Non-binary
- Prefer not to say
- Other (free text)
To update your gender:
- Tap on the “Gender” field.
- Select an option or enter your own term.
- Tap Confirm to save your changes.
Date of Birth
- Limited edition
- Your date of birth can only be changed once after account creation, for security and legal compliance (minimum age required).
- Any further request must go through manual verification by our team.
To change your date of birth (if still possible):
- Tap on the “Date of Birth” field.
- Enter the new date.
- Tap Confirm to save your changes.
- A confirmation email will be sent to you.
Why is this data important?
- To ensure you have access to age-appropriate features.
- To personalize some content suggestions.
- To comply with legal requirements regarding the protection of minors.
