🏷️ Mention someone in the description
When creating a post (text, photo, video), you can mention a person in the Description field to get their attention.
To mention someone, enter the @ symbol followed by the first characters of their user name.
A suggestions list appears automatically. Choose the person you wish to mention.
The person’s name will then appear highlighted in the description.
✅ Tips
- You can mention several persons in the same description by repeating the procedure.
- Mentioning someone sends them a notification that they are cited in your post.
⚠️ Important
- Mentions work only if the mentioned account exists and allows mentions.
- If you mention someone without an account, or who has disabled this option, the mention will not activate.
