Settings : Tags and mentions
In this section, you can choose who is allowed to indentify you (tag) on posts and who can mention (@username) in descriptions and comments. Each item has three settings.
From the mobile App : iOS & ANDROID
1. Who can tag you on a post (photo, video, text)
This setting controls who can tag you on a post — whether it’s an image, a video, or a text.
Available options:
- No: No one can tag you on a post.
- Everybody: Any person can tag you on a post.

- People you follow,
- People who follow you,
- And users who don’t follow you.
2. Who can @mention your name (in descriptions and comments)
This setting controls who can mention you using @ in post descriptions or comments.
Available options:
- No: No one can mention you in a post or comment.
- Everybody: Any person can mention you.

- Your followers,
- The accounts you follow,
- And users who do not follow you.
Good to know
Mentions in an account’s bio are not allowed. This setting only applies to post descriptions and comments.
